All Lampstand Learning Center courses SUPPORT home teaching using the Tapestry of Grace Redesigned curriculum. Families will need to own the appropriate year-plan of Tapestry of Grace and provide books, purchased or borrowed, according to the Reading Assignment Sheets or appropriate substitutes.
Due to the nature of the Tapestry of Grace curriculum if your child is enrolled in the Church History, Literature, Writing, Government, or Philosophy courses, your child needs to be either enrolled in one of the LLC History classes online or studying Tapestry History on a schedule that parallels ours.

The Year 3 Bridge Literature class is a high school level course that bridges the gap between dialectic and rhetoric Literature plans as offered in Tapestry of Grace. Students will read unabridged selections from the dialectic reading list and use literature analysis techniques taken from Poetics. Each student will also be able to pick two personal selections from a list of select books to study. As with all Tapestry courses the class will be comprised of a Socratic discussion, but the course teacher will also generate new weekly assignment sheets.

For each genre covered, your student will receive online instruction, collaborate with classmates online in class to improve their writing, submit drafts to their instructor, and receive personalized feedback on ways to improve their writing. Because students will be required to write about topics they are studying in the Tapestry of Grace history component, in order to participate in this writing class, your child would need to be either enrolled in one of our History classes or studying Tapestry History with you at home, on a schedule that parallels ours.
